Detailed Job Description

 As a Quality Technician in our stamping plant, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving product quality throughout the production process. You will work closely with production teams to perform inspections, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet or exceed our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: This is a full time 1st shift 6am to 2:30 pm opportunity Min 3 years experience in Industrial/manufacturing

• Perform quality inspections on stamped parts using various measurement tools and equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement solutions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree or technical certification preferred).
• Previous experience as a Quality Technician or in a quality control role in a manufacturing environment (stamping or automotive industry experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with measurement tools and gauges (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, blue prints etc.).
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, inspection methods, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
