Detailed Job Description

Machine shop in Elyria is seeking ACME Gridley/Multi Spindle Screw Machine Setup/Operators. This position requires experience operating ACME and Euro turn machines as you will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of automatic screw machines to include maintaining product quality and completing required documentation. Must be able to read blueprints and use tools such as gages, micrometers, indicators, thread gages, etc. Math skills are required as well as the ability to stoop, bend and kneel. Will be responsible for maintaining tooling and performing preventative maintenance as needed as well as complete machine set ups as necessary. Must have own tools. The hours are Mon-Thurs 6:00A-4:30P, some overtime available on Fridays. Starting pay is $20-30 per hour depending on experience. No recent/violent felonies. Must have own tools.
