Detailed Job Description

We are seeking a 1st shift - M1 –3K Saw Operator. Back up to run secondary machines, Trim Saw or Single station- M1 - Machine Operator- Operate machine(s) throughout the plant. This company specializes in bending, machining and fabrication of tubes. Material handling (operate PIT), pack parts, learn to read and follow job travelers (work instructions). Read blueprints and learn to inspect parts using required inspection tools. Inspection tools used: micrometers/calipers. Operate various saws. Must be able to lift parts up to 35 pounds. Some pieces of equipment are specific to the company/employer. Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required. For Single Station machine: very helpful to have some welding knowledge and/or experience with the ability to determine what a good weld looks like. Must be able to read tape measure.
